Centennial OSS exists to develop, maintain, and distribute free and open-source software for the general public. The organization promotes accessible, privacy-respecting, user-focused technology.

Its educational work includes creating and sharing software tools that support productivity, creativity, and learning, while preserving those tools for long-term public benefit.

Public Access

Software and related resources are made available to the public without charge and without advertising.

No Monetization

The corporation does not sell, fee-license, or monetize its software or its users' personal data.

Data Restraint

Personal data is not collected, tracked, or retained except where necessary for voluntary donations or legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

Nonprofit Limits

No earnings benefit private persons, and assets are dedicated to 501(c)(3)-aligned public purposes on dissolution.
